About the Role

Are you a creative person and looking for a job to make Swiss Re and the world more cyber resilient? This is your chance to join the newly formed Cyber Preparedness team within our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) organization. Preparedness is key and requires talent to understand business critical processes, analytical problem solving, and technical understanding of our continuously changing threat landscape. It is key to this function to put theory into practice e.g. by designing and executing cyber-attack simulation exercises. With your contributions, you make Swiss Re's Cyber Defense more cyber resilient and with that, Swiss Re makes the world more resilient!

Your responsibilities will include:

- Refining and strengthening our current Incident Response Framework;
- Working closely together with Offense Team ("Red Team") and Defense Team ("Blue Team") to identify areas for improvement and lead overall preparedness improvement;
- Ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures;
- Supporting local CISOs with incident response analysis;
- Designing and conducting training material and programs;
- Compiling training material for cyber-attack simulation exercises ranging from simple table-top exercises to fully simulated attacks in collaboration with the Red Team;
- Coordinating and supporting Incident Response Preparedness with internal and external partners;
- Assisting with various Incident Response activities within the CISO Organization;

About the Team

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) function is the principal point for cyber and information security activities across Swiss Re. We have the role to oversee security governance, risk and compliance, define and advance the company's cyber security concepts as well as carry out the implementation of necessary security capabilities. Do you want to contribute directly to Swiss Re's Incident Response preparedness and support our Red Team in their offensive security mission? Personality requirements and skills

About You

- Several years of experience with the implementation & management of a wide set of information security technologies and processes (e.g. data protection, preservation of evidence, security governance, network security, cloud security);
- Technical experience as Cyber / Security Incident Handler is a plus;
- In-depth understanding of Incident Response Framework and the ability to deal with several partners, analyzing business needs and strong problem-solving skills;
- Creative mindset to design and execute cyber-attack simulation exercises helping to improve crisis preparedness;
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and unambiguously to both business and technical audiences;
- Strong communication and writing skills; proficiency in English is required, other languages are a plus;
- Sound understanding of security frameworks (ISO27001/2, NIST, OWASP Top 10);
- You are a great teammate, ambitious, focused and like international relationships;
- You are curious, like to drive things forward, raise your voice for improvement and possess a great interest in learning new things.
