About the Role
Compliance Analytics
Support Compliance's development of analytics capabilities, including the understanding the data available to Compliance, and support the analysis of data to generate actionable insights.
Work with Compliance Assurance team to understand data available to Compliance, define Continuous Monitoring program for specific Compliance risks and help formulate a data-driven approach including data analysis and visualisations that help meet the monitoring objective.
Creation and maintenance of data analysis queries to support risk assessment activities to identify if risks have occurred and validate the effectiveness of internal controls
Work closely with GIA Analytics and Risk Management teams to ensure synergies and cross-knowledge sharing
Support the development of reporting and dashboarding using Tableau or Power BI to provide an interactive and visual way for Compliance staff to understand key topics and assess risk during risk assessment activities
Support the development of Compliance Key Risk Indicators framework and the development of internal KPI reporting.

Compliance Tools
Participate in Compliance framework projects to support the business analysis, development and management of Compliance specific tools
Translate Compliance policies, standards and processes into business requirements to support the development of Compliance Tools
Manage the change request process on selected Compliance tools
Act as main liaison between Compliance and IT development teams

About the Team
This is an exciting opportunity to join our global Compliance Tools & Analytics team, based on Zürich and Bangalore, which is responsible to leverage technology and data for the benefit of Compliance. This includes business analysis, development and management of Compliance specific tools and data analytical solutions. The development of Compliance analytics capabilities is a key strategic initiative for Compliance.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About You
University degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Maths).
3-5 years of experience in a role collecting, transforming and analysing data with experience in a business or consulting role (i.e. not an IT role).
Fluent in English, other languages a plus
Experience working with business (non-technical) staff to understand, influence and translate their needs into requirements for analysis.
Proficient in SQL and strong data literacy skills.
Strong awareness of data visualisation good practice (e.g. Stephen Few, Edward Tufte).
Experienced in SharePoint development
High-level understanding of Compliance, audit and risk management.
Strong project management and analytical skills
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Familiar with Agile spirit and development methodology
Take responsibility and ownership, share and communicate
Lead by example and act with integrity
Conduct work activities efficiently with effective organisation and time management
Pragmatic thinking and ability to facilitate team work
