About the team

The Cost Allocation team will be a total of 10 FTEs including yourself, housed within a highly integrated Group Cost Management unit of 25 FTEs based in Zurich, Bratislava and Armonk. We are part of Finance Group Operations, which in total has 140 FTEs.
Our main goal is to be the central point of contact for the divisions and legal entities on any Service cost allocation related topic where we ensure close collaboration with the Division Heads, Divisional Executive Offices and Cost representatives such as Department and Cost Centre Heads.

About the role

You will join a high-powered Cost Operations team that maintains and administers the tools, reporting engines and processes that underpin the Swiss Re Group cost consolidation. This role will require intensive collaboration with the Cost Allocation team in Group Cost Management and will have significant stakeholder exposure across the legal entity community, with a large focus on the process governance, tool maintenance and production support for group cost management. Support with standard and ad hoc cost reporting can also be offered within this role.

This position will report to the Head Cost Allocations and will be significantly involved in the ATLAS Cost Transparency entity go-live during 2018.

This is a first rate opportunity to get a broad understanding of the operational management of a financial services firms. It will allow and require you to build a wide network across all Legal Entities, Business Units and Group Functions. The combination of data-centric and people-centric process work is a unique platform from which to develop your management skills.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintenance of the Global Database with all Intra-company Agreements (ISAs), keeping ISAs updated and accessible for our global user community
• Preparation of new and amend existing ISAs, and actively drive the signature procedure of all new documents globally
• Close cooperation and communication with professionals from Legal, Group Tax, Transfer Pricing and Global Outsourcing
• Being part of automatization and process enhancements
• Cooperation and support of all Group Cost Management team on ad-hoc projects

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Recently graduate of university degree, preferable in a finance related field
- Interest to explore and learn about accounting terminology and processes
- Excellent MS Excel, and other Microsoft Office suite programs
- Ability to assess, understand complex dependencies
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skills and team player
