About the role & the team

This is an opportunity for you to join our Investment Transactions Management team whose purpose is to confirm and settle all trades executed by our internal portfolio managers and payments related to trading activities. You will confirm the trades and cash flows with counter-parties and brokers, monitor until their successful settlement and resolve issues or discrepancies. We have direct exposure to the market and get involved in different projects and initiatives following business strategy, regulatory requirements and changes. We offer excellent learning opportunities as you would have insights into the investment and transaction lifecycle. Our team belongs to the Asset Management (AM) function which is ultimately responsible for managing assets that Swiss Re generates through its core insurance and reinsurance businesses.
Key Responsibilities
You will have full control and supervision of daily tasks and flows related to confirmation and settlement of fixed income and equity trades, payments connected with investment activities, including corporate actions
You will communicate with internal and external parties to address queries
You will be responsibility for implementation of new regulatory requirements and market changes
You will actively participate in functional and cross-functional projects, suggesting improvements and simplification of tasks and processes
You will provide input for development and improvement of internal control framework together with Operational Risk Management
You will mentor colleagues through training and operations
