The programme offers you the chance to join the dynamic, fast-moving world of a leading risk knowledge organisation. Over an 18-month period, you’ll receive on-and-off-the-job training, including a job rotation that gives you the opportunity to work across various business units.
About the Team
The Digital & Smart Analytics team supports and enables Swiss Re's business functions to generate insights, improve efficiencies and build new digital products that are aligned with business and strategic goals. Our team of Data Scientists and Analytics Consultants provides services and develops solutions in three key areas:
1.Analytics Consulting:
We collaborate with business unit teams and Swiss Re clients to identify and triage analytics opportunities. Consultants scope and develop business cases, recognising and translating insights into relevant / actionable insights, and enthusiastically scale solutions.
2. Analytics Delivery (Modelling & Prototyping):
We define the most appropriate analytics method and data, validating analytics scenarios through proof of concepts or pilot use cases.
3. Analytics Solution Enabling:
We focus on implementing, improving and maintaining analytics solutions to solve business issues.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated team-player with a background in consulting, plus a familiarity with data science tools and / or in the insurance industry. Your digital savviness is evened with client-centric soft skills and a dedication to identifying & driving opportunities with the greatest impact. You will chip in to defining and executing analytics consulting services in EMEA by working with various teams throughout Swiss Re.
Key Tasks
•You will support and enable business teams in the ideation of data-driven solutions.
•You ensure the creation of solid business cases reflecting business, regulatory and technical requirements.
•You will be dedicated to define, scope and lead agile data analytics projects in close collaboration with solution enabling teams.
