Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a Financial Analyst, you will support financial analysis, reporting (Nominal, US GAAP and Economic Value Management) for the Corporate Solutions business unit. Specifically, you will manage and execute quarterly reporting processes and deliverables to support FP&A Region leads, Products leads, and Product owners. This include budgeting & projections, preparation of management reports and reconciliation tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to get a strong overview of some of the most interesting corporate insurance products of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, coupled with very close collaboration with regional and product teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Support quarterly closing process (Nominal, US GAAP and EVM) ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
• Support the management of CorSo Global FP&A SharePoint website
• Assist in managing Global FP&A Services quarterly closing activities, ensuring all deliverables are met timely
• Actively participate in finding ways to support CorSo Finance commitment of becoming a key trusted value added Corporate Solutions business partner
• Assist in centralisation of reporting and projection routines that will result in improved productivity
• Assist in coordinating with CorFiT to ensure FP&A reporting requirements are met
• Support the redesign of current processes and management reports; ensuring alignment with CorFiT future landscape while maintaining FP&A Services commitment to deliverables
• Develop an understanding of Economic Value Measurement for underwriting and investment activities and understand the differences compared to traditional valuation approaches
• Own the way you work and have the possibility to make a difference
• The ability to perform the above tasks with a high degree of autonomy, while leveraging on and working closely with all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide customized / ad-hoc performance and analysis

The Corporate Solutions Global FP&A Services team supports managing and steering the financial performance of the business unit Corporate Solutions and its regional and product management teams. We are constantly developing and strengthening our capabilities to act as true business partners and providing insightful and meaningful reporting to our decision makers. Working within the Finance Corporate Solution team, you will join a highly motivated and dynamic team with an interesting and complex environment and will get the opportunity to build up and further enhance reporting, consolidation & analytical capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:

• Previous project management skills desirable. Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into report/presentations design and processes
• Strong ability to analyse and interpret financial data
Key skills and knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Flexibility to work in both a collaborative team environment and also independently
• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Strong MS Office skills required
• Agile and flexible, ability to operate within a changing environment. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and prioritize
