Performance Management Group Operations encompasses the COO Office and steering function of Group Operations costs and allocations to the Business Divisions. We are part of the Finance Group Operations/Corporate Centre unit directly reporting to the Group COO and the Group CFO of Swiss Re, with the CFO Group Operations/Corporate Centre and various direct reports based in Bratislava, offering you a great opportunity for growth.

Do you love working with many people across the Group and strive at the heart of strategy creation for a global company?
For the Group COO and the function's management team, you will:
•prepare senior management presentations
•lead our two-person team on-the-ground in Bratislava
•lead strategic and productivity improvement projects
•incite engagement for the strategy
•steer the function
•generate insights with your analytical skills
•guide other team members in projects and everyday work.

You will distil improvement ideas from the team's data and implement them closely collaborating with all areas in Group Operations and in the business.

You will work with the unit's managing director, the CFO Group Operations/Corporate Centre in Bratislava as well as with the department head and team colleagues in Zurich and lead two team members in Bratislava.

We are a team of 10 people based in Bratislava and Zurich, part of Finance Group Operations with a total of 140 people, most of them in Bratislava, and the key responsibilities to
•craft the Group Operations strategy presentations for the Board of Directors, the Group Executive Committee, the business and ourselves
•lead strategy implementation
•own the demand-supply dialogue with the business
•run productivity projects.
We are close to the decision makers in Business Divisions, Group Finance, and Group Operations, and see directly the results of our work.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About you:
•Have 5-10 years of consulting experience in a strategy consultancy.
•Have formidable leadership skills and experience
•Strive at storyline creation and MS PowerPoint.
•Are a strong conceptual thinker.
•Are committed to high-quality end products also in short time frames.
•Are willing to focus on making our partners and ourselves successful.
•Communicate and listen well to senior leadership, internal clients, and colleagues.
•Are comfortable to navigate in a multinational company.
•Have demonstrated your capabilities in project management.
•Have very good analytical skills and are proficient in MS Excel.
•Hold a university degree.
•Speak and write English fluently.
•Are a phenomenal teammate.
