Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an open-minded and motivated Tool Analyst interested to take on a new challenge in the operational and steering area within the L&H Underwriting community. Your responsibilities would include:

-Become proficient in knowledge of tools and processes used in Life & Health Underwriting
-Lead and organize broader testing strategies, working with underwriters, IT and other business functions
-Represent Underwriting Hub EMEA in various global system development projects and topic forums
-Responsible for tools access management and support our external and internal clients with user help related requests
-Drive regular recertification process for our internal and external tools
-Own reporting for Underwriting Hub EMEA
-Drive one team culture through ownership of our SharePoint and other communication platforms
-Suggest and implement process improvements, participate in projects and show ownership on initiatives that will improve the status quo
-Perform other ad-hoc tasks in order to support smooth operation of the Underwriting Hub EMEA

You will be working closely with various Underwriting teams supporting EMEA markets (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and will be based within the team of underwriters located in Bratislava.

Depending on your skill set and abilities, this position offers possibility to grow in the role and additional project type work can be assigned as and when required.


About the team

We are a team of underwriters and underwriting analysts who support the EMEA region on the business side, including cases assessment and various client needs. We work closely with regional and cross-functional partners.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

-Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business or similar
-Excellent knowledge of English
-Very good Excel and other MS Office skills
-Genuine interest in IT systems and processes
-Enjoys developing solutions in a proactive manner
-Strong communication and analytical skills
-Positive attitude towards issue resolution

-Team player
