Job description, responsibilities and duties

About the Role:
• You will work closely with IAM Engineering and Architecture team focusing on integration of new systems and solutions while supporting consolidation of the current IAM landscape.
• Your activities will cover hands-on administration, implementation and configuration of the next generation IAM components.
• Your daily activities will certainly include collaboration with other IAM teams. You will support their tasks and activities and even enable them to develop solutions for complex changes.
• You will provide tier L2 / L3 support for incidents related to IAM tools / solutions.
• You will participate in technical meetings with developers and SMEs where you can directly influence our outcomes and advance our cause.
• You will manage IAM components in terms of version upgrades and patching, including communication (and perhaps delivering a training if needed).
• You will continuously improve IAM deployments and processes and keep the related technical documentation up-to-date.
• You will have a chance to apply your technical expertise in order to implement efficiencies.

Other activities/accountabilities:
• Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor
• Provide cover for roles in other teams
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time
• Some travel to Swiss Re locations may be required
• Due to nature of the position, standby service as well as occasional work outside the office hours may be required

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• We expect you have broad experience in supporting IAM technologies in large, complex environments.
• We would assume you have limited experience with Identity Management solutions, preferably SailPoint IIQ.
• We count on your deep understanding of federation protocols and security concepts.
• We prefer you have at least basic knowledge of relational databases, database schemas and data structures.
• We wish you had basic understanding of RESTful web services.
• We are looking for a person with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• We are seeking a teammate who is able to deliver high performance when working in a team but also when working on his / her own.
