As an underwriter based in Bratislava you will support all underwriting activities of our teams based in major cities across Europe. Following a period of intensive training, you will use our world leading underwriting manual, Life Guide, and an extensive network of support professionals, to make recommendations on individual risks. As your skills grow, you will also participate in more advanced services which we provide to our clients, including reporting, product development, training material preparation and translations.

Every day, you will be responsible for handling the following:
• Registration of underwriting cases via our administrative system.
• Assessment of medical and financial documents to establish a recommendation with the help of our underwriting tools and experts.
• Preparation and/or on-site support for client facing activities, such as trainings and audits.
• Support for translation of underwriting related tools.

Other activities/accountabilities:
• You will perform other position related tasks on an ad hoc basis.
• You will provide cover for roles in other teams.
• You might travel to other Swiss Re locations from time to time
