Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The primary focus of this role is to deliver the iptiQ data management processes to receive & validate iptiQ's data out to the iptiQ business to support business steering and decision-making.

Your tasks will be:
- Lead incoming data files from our Distribution partners & service suppliers
- Load data into our data storage systems and review for inconsistencies or anomalies
- Analyze data issues and work closely with our partners to implement corrections
- Provide our business users with access to essential data sets and reports, advise on appropriate data usage
- Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast & efficient access to metrics, make recommendations to improve efficiency and quality of data management procedures
- Maintain data management policies & procedures and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity and efficiency of processing
- Support infrastructure change projects & partner onboarding with requirements, documentation and testing
- Communicate with business users and key stakeholders ensuring transparency on data management responsibilities
- Manage own workload effectively to achieve agreed service/ business standards
- Undertake effectively the necessary learning to develop current and new areas of competence
- Some travel to Swiss Re locations may be required

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- 1-2 years’ experience in data management or analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or quantitative field
- Strong data manipulation language skills (e.g., SQL, Python)
- Ability to work with large data sets and extrapolate conclusions
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
- Fmiliarity with modern database and information system technologies
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- You are committed to quality, attention to detail and are solution oriented; persistent and thorough
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ambitious, highly organized and efficient, setting adequate priorities
- You understand and live iptiQ culture and values – can do and proactive attitudes
- English is iptiQ's business language and therefore essential
