Lead Process Engineer

Job content:

  • Create, optimize and balance a flow of processes and equipment to secure cost, output, quality and availability based on current demand of products and volumes
  • Develop machines and processes with new technology and automation (payback calculations & CER)
  • Handle customizing requests within process. Decline customizing request or implement changes and new equipment if motivated
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Report to the Engineering Manager on the performance status of process control
  • Document necessary changes or additional investments together with an estimated cost to run the new product in an existing or new process
  • Lead the work with risk analysis, control plans and process FMEA (defined process part)
  • Create or support project leader in the development of a CER for necessary investments
  • Implement new equipment including information to manufacturing team, SOPs, maintenance instructions and training for operators and maintenance technicians

Personality requirements and skills:

  • experience from manufacturing industry
  • experience with TPM
  • lean manufacturing experience
  • problem solving methods knowledge (FMEA, PDCA, 6 sigma)
  • target and action-oriented person who works quickly.
  • team player
  • Ability to provide advanced support and expertise
  • Ability to lead the engineering work in projects (such as NPD, advanced customizing, engineering)
  • Basic knowledge on project management
  • university graduated within technical field
  • Microsoft Office advanced user
  • fluent English in both verbal and in writing
