Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Supervised extension of existing audio/video processing engine in our software solutions.
• Bughunting and bugfixing.
• Writing documentation.
• Waterfall development model using small progress iterations (3 - 5 days).
• Work on implementation of a high performance solution for processing audio and video in C++ with the usage of DirecX, FFmpeg, ect.
• Development of new and unique audio/video processing solutions in cooperation with worldwide known camera manufacturer.
• Under supervision of experienced developers, the developer:
• will learn or extend his/her knowledge in Windows 10 API programming, FFMpeg framework, COM, Direct3D9X and 12, DirectShow, MediaFoundation and various capture cards SDKs
• will gain deep knowledge of recent audio/video processing algorithms and techniques with possibility to shift into research domain too
• will touch other modern trends in the field: AI, VR/AG, Haptic devices support and other

Personality requirements and skills

General Requirements: The successful candidate should be proficient in all standard software’s and operating systems, should like challenges and learn quickly. Knowledge of video/audio and television technologies and workflows is a major advantage. The code you produce has to be optimized since we are working with real time video processing.

• Basic C++ 11 knowledge
• Experience with application programming in object oriented programming languages.
• Experience with developing in Visual Studio (2012 preferred), knowledge of standard project architecture.
• Passion and experiences for video processing.
• Basic knowledge of SW development life cycle.
• Self-motivation, independence, creativity, active approach to problem solving.
• Not being afraid of challenges and questions.

Skill that are considered a major advantage for the candidate:
• C++ v11 knowledge on advanced level.
• Python, C# and C++/CLI is welcome but not necessary
• Experience working with video and audio.
• Programming applications that handle audio and video.
• Knowledge of Direct 3D, FFmpeg and/or DirectShow.
• It's not necessary to know everything, with enough self-motivation we will help you to learn it and overcome any obstacle
