Accounts Payable Accountant (Bilingual French/English)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Perform AP tasks for Spin Master France/+ Meccano according to agreed timelines and in compliance with procedures.

Reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

Be responsible for the accounts payable process for French Spin Master legal entity
Supporting the AP process for Meccano factory as well
Posting invoices, dealing with country tax codes
Analyzing and paying employee and credit card expenses
Auditing import tax charges and liaise with logistic team
Setting up payments using online banking and liaising with group treasury, and ensuring all payments are correctly authorized and processed
Assisting with the purchase order process and periodically monitor and review
Preparing and analyzing the month end journals including accruals
Preparing reports with open and aged items, discussing on conference calls and making an action plan
Assisting with audit and other statutory reporting requirements
