Job description, responsibilities and duties

What will you work on?
You will play a key role in HR Operating Model in Slovakia, as a primary contact being responsible for all HR interaction; accountable for employee relationship, maintaining core HR data and files in compliance with the local regulation or Spin Master internal processes and policies, administration of HR systems, offer support and coaching to line managers and employees on HR related queries and matters, new hire orientation, performance and talent management and development.
As HR Manager you will report to and work closely with Senior Manager, Human Resources to support and participate on all HR processes launch, implementation, and adoption.
You will also participate on projects related to new HRIS modules implementation, communication and training up to full adoption in partnership with EU HRBP and COE teams to ensures the delivery of HR transactions needed from all during their professional lifecycle are met.
In partnership with the local management team, you will be responsible for managing all communication and content to be share with the Trade Union or any future potential council organization, this will include analysis required, formal documentations, partnership of potential upcoming projects initiated by the Trade Unions.

HR Daily job responsibilities and duties:
· Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other queries/needs
· Supports management teams by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
· Guides management teams and employees actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
· On-boarding/off-boarding of employees and ensuring HR policies and new hire training is completed in partnership with the Employee Experience team
· Maintain partnership and manage communication with Trade Union in Slovakia in a timely and professional manner, be responsible for all mandatory action to be taken towards Union. Discuss and partner with Sr. Manager HR and Office Lead any Trade Union requests and propose actions and solutions based on legal requirements
· Supporting Senior Manager HR in any administrative tasks or requirements
· Escalated appropriately all HR matters to be resolved

HR Data Management
· Organizing, updating and archiving of physical employee files
· Support the Payroll Specialist in maintaining payroll and benefits documents in accordance with legal requirements and global policies
· Entering and managing data to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance at all time for Europe (WorkDay). Maintaining and updating reports as required (new hires, terminations, leaves, etc.)
· Tracking and maintaining HR expense/invoice sheets including but not limited to invoices and benefits invoices; tracking and processing invoices on SAP
· Ensure all employees have at all time an accurate Job description: manage the process
· Update HR website, Spin Central Europe : new joiners, news, etc.

Trainings and Development/Talent Management
· Identify the appropriate training partners and assist by preparing agreement for services (in line with our authority of approval)
· Ensure compliance trainings are completed for new hires and existing employees
· In partnership with people Managers and the HR Manager develop training programs to ensure building a strong organization, bringing new ideas for implemented training programs
· Promote and leverage LinkedIn Training as the key Training & Development tool
· Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in how we deliver trainings and learning experience at Spin Master
· Manage Talent reviews content, lead discussions and ensure follow up
· Coach Managers/Team Leaders to attract, retain and develop their workforce bench
· Provide Trainings to employees and Managers for any new implemented tool/process

HR projects
· Lead/Assists and Implement the Reward and Recognition programs
· Special Projects (e.g. Health Day/Wellness day, Employee Initiatives and Events) organization
· Acting as a resource to the employees and managers on issues related to employee benefits terms and conditions and eligibility
· Supervising organization of meetings and on-site trainings, logistics, invites sending, meeting room preparation and communication with vendor

Payroll & Attendance
· Provide all Payroll related information and documents
· Assist to resolve payroll questions, issues and communication toward employees as a support to the Payroll Specialist when unavailable

Recruitment/Onboarding
· Partner with Talent Acquisition team in TA and Recruitment processes: support the entire recruiting life cycle from candidate generation through direct sourcing, interviewing, checking references and closing candidates up to onboarding
· Supervising preparation of New hires Onboarding
· Understand the business technology, product and culture in order to sell the company to prospective candidates
· If necessary, assist to review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements

What are your skills and experience?
· Proven experience as HR Manager/Generalist or in a similar role
· Proven experience in working with Trade Unions
· Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent technology skills; proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Experience in working with an HRIS tool, Workday is strong advantage
· Proactive, results oriented and good judgment
· Ability to recognize and react appropriately to confidential situations
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, attention to detail and timelines
· Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
· Attention to detail, decision making skills, good judgment
· Reliable with patience and professionalism
· Professional manner when representing the HR team
· Sensitive to dealing with high confidential data and information
· Fluent English is a must
· Bachelor/University Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline required
· +5 years’ experience in Human Resources role required
