Manager, Account Payable Europe

General:
The Manager AP reports to the Senior Manager Finance Operations Europe and is responsible to manage the AP department (6 direct reports) for the European entities and coordinate direct reports to ensure all related activities are performed according to agreed timelines and in compliance with procedures and SLA.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Employee performance review and management
• Coordinate daily AP operations:
- PO/Non-PO invoices processing
- Liaise with Buyers, Procurement, Vendors, Finance on any related issue
- Preparation of weekly payment runs
- Processing of T&Es and Credit Card employee expenses
- Review changes to Vendor Master File
- Process accruals
- Maintain Cash Book

• Coordinate Month/Quarter/Year-end Closing Activities
- Accruals Management
- Open Items reporting with actions for resolution
- BS Reconciliations
- GR/IR reconciliation

• Manage Internal Controls and Audit requirements and deliverables
• Actively explore opportunities for process improvement
• Active involvement in ad hoc projects
• Build a strong Partnership and Collaboration with the Business Units and Headquarters
• Team Management activities
- Recruitment of new hires
- Performance Management
- Training and coaching
- Talent Development
• Other ad hoc tasks (assigned projects) and duties as assigned by management
