Functional SW developer for smart buildings (Erlang)

Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a functional developer for smart buildings project Middleware Services for Integrated Buildings (MSIB). MSIB supports real time collaboration of Building Automation System with cloud based software components. As part of IoT network it provides BACnet and SNMP protocol conversion for embedded devices installed in buildings which stream data to ethernet components.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Analysis, design and implementation of MSIB components using Erlang
- Implementation of unit tests for your code
- Working in agile team and participate on scrum events - daily stand-up, sprint review, demo, retrospective
- Communicating with product management and team members about interfaces and dependencies
We expect
Mandatory skills:· Working experience with Erlang or other functional programming language
· Experience with network protocols
· Interest in embedded programming and IoT
Nice to have skills:
· Practical experience RDBMS (SQL)
· Working experience with GIT
· Overview of low level building automation protocol (BACnet), Modbus, SNMP
· Overview of Pascal
· User level experience with Linux
