Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a full-stack developer focused on Angular 2+ for projects creating cloud-based solutions for smart buildings. You will be part of our Scrum DevOps team working on implementation of front-end (Angular 2+), back-end (Java SE 8, Java EE, or node.JS) and AWS cloud infrastructure features. We develop solutions to maintain portfolio of buildings in a cloud-based repository in close cooperation with our colleagues from Switzerland, Germany and other countries. We use this repository to help our customers with cost reduction through predictive maintenance and through visualization and analysis of data coming directly from IoT devices installed in the buildings. Our goal is to implement a highly responsive, scalable and secure solution with attractive look & feel using state-of-the-art technologies.

In this role you will be responsible for:
• Analysis, design and implementation of front-end, backend and cloud infrastructure features
• Implementation of unit tests for your code
• Document your design and code
• Participate on scrum events – daily stand-up, demo, retrospective, planning
• Communicating with product management and team members from other teams about interfaces and dependencies
• Coaching of junior team members

Mandatory skills:
• Object oriented analysis, design and implementation
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Experience with Angular 2+ (TypeScript) and node.js
• GIT SCM (or similar source code management system)
• User level of project tracking tool (Jazz, JIRA, …)
• Experience and willingness to work in agile environment

Nice to have skills:
• Working experience with Java SE
• Working experience with JEE (Spring Boot, Spring Security)
• UML
• SQL
• Service Oriented Architecture (REST)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
