Job description, responsibilities and duties
You will be responsible for refining cloud security policies and creating detailed security guidelines for the use of each trusted cloud provider. Also you will be able to contribute to central, group wide cloud strategy. This role also involves giving advice concerning this topic to security officers in 18 different countries.
Your responsibilities in more detail:
• Actively support cloud related developments from a cyber security perspective including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
• Develop detailed cloud vendor specific security guidelines to be followed when using a cloud provider (AWS and Microsoft Azure).
• Evaluate new cloud security technologies together with colleagues from Slovakia and Austria.
• Contribute to security assessments of new cloud based solutions.
• Give advice to security officers in 18 different countries concerning this topic.
• Stay informed to advance cyber security capabilities to constantly address new attack vectors and threats.
• Develop relevant KPIs and report to the head of security group.

• Hold or working towards a recognized and relevant IT Security or Cloud Security certification (i.e. CISSP, CSSP) or cloud vendor specific certifications (AWS or Azure)
• Experience in the creation of cloud policies, standards and guidelines.
• Experience in securing cloud solutions from Amazon and Microsoft.
• 4+ years of proven Information Technology experience with strong understanding of network protocols and system design.
• Solid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including a full understanding of the cyber risk landscape.
• Knowledge of information system architecture and security controls (i.e. firewalls and web application gateways, operating system configurations)
• Project delivery experience
• Ability to convert high level requirements into technical designs that are commercially viable and suit their operating environment
• Ability to convey a technical solution to senior management in a clear and concise manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strategic thinker with proven analytical and problem solving abilities
• A team player who is hardworking and self-motivated
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritize workloads, and to measure and report on current progress
• Must adhere to and promote team standards including documentation
