We are looking for a Data Streaming Engineer - senior to strengthen our real-time event streaming capabilities and know-how and launch on an exciting journey together.

Data streaming is established as a dedicated agile product team in RPC, responsible for innovations and operations of the RPC platforms for event streaming. These platforms are essential data ecosystem components in the data driven vision of our organization and RBI Group.

This position is a replacement during the maternity & parental leave.

Wage (gross)

2 800 EUR/monththe salary starts on 2800€ + fixed allowances twice a year + bonus (if you are more senior please, don´t hesitate to share your expectations. Final salary depends on candidates level of experiences and skills.)

Information about the selection process

​Thank you very much for your interest in our job vacancies and RPC. Recruitment process may vary from position, seniority, or number of applicants, but you may expect:

1) Short call with our HR where you will get basic information about RPC, team and first questions on your expectations and background
2) Suitable candidates will be invited to the interview with manager and senior professional from the team will be sometimes available as well.

We do our best to cut the process to minimum. On the other hand, we want to get to know you as much as we can, to find out whether it will work for both sides. Sometimes we use tests, reference check, or need extra meeting with you. Every candidate will receive an answer.

Personality requirements and skills

o Experience with SQL/PLSQL
o Experience with NoSQL database systems, knowledge on NoSQL databases like Cassandra, HBase and MongoDB is advantage
o Development experience with Java, REST APIs, microservices, message bus technologies
o Strong knowledge in CI/CD DevOps best practices and tools, knowledge on DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins
o Kafka Configuration Authorization and Authentication Patterns
o Experience in Spring Framework/SpringCloud Kafka topics is a huge advantage
o Experience in Microservice development is advantage
o Experience in builds and deployment
o Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes and Docker
o Strong problem-solving skills
o Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum) is advantage
o 4+ years of experience in the Kafka operated environments - preferable in financial services industry
