Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Ensure timely, cost-effective purchase of goods and services in the required amount.
• Ensure budget discipline to achieve/improve the plant profitability
• Introduce, manage, and implement cost-saving measures in the design and use of material.
• Ensure cost savings at an objective level (for production and non-production materials) to ensure continuous savings
• Prepare detailed purchasing reports based on implemented standards
• Lead/support selection of suppliers for production and non-production purchasing to meet local requirements.
• Follow up clear specifications for a competitive bidding process.
• Solve customer complaints in relation to the purchasing process
• Support SET, VA / VE of the plant and engineering for design and application design / use, reduction of non-production costs
• Perform “Make or Buy study”
• Support orders issue for all production and non-production requirements
• Support production and non-production strategic commodity teams and suppliers' procurement teams if needed
• Support the development and implementation of common European processes at the plant level to ensure the audit compliance.
• Support internal teams to solve operational issues
• Promote cost savings.
• Be a person in charge of plant purchasing management
