Job description, responsibilities and duties

This is a great opportunity for a speaker of German who would like to use the language on a daily basis and open a door to the field of Finance. This is an administrative role in a Finance department which requires active communication with clients in German speaking countries. This would be perfect for a candidate who is currently doing phone customer support and wants to learn something new or someone who is currently not using their German as much as they want.

• Administration of customer accounts.
• B2B communication with customers in German speaking countries to ensure invoices are paid on time reducing overdue accounts receivable
• Cooperation with internal departments on resolution of customer issues that delay payments (e.g. incorrect deliveries, billing issues or price disputes) via e-mails, meetings, and conference calls.

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Fluent German and English (B2 or higher)
• Candidate who enjoys talking to people via phone and email
• Detail-oriented team player
• Basic knowledge of Excel, VLOOKUP and pivot table is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP or GetPaid is an advantage
• Finance/Accountancy background is an advantage
