Reed are looking for a candidate with technical background, pro-customer approach and fluent English and one of the following: Italian or German. Our clients is a leader in their field. This vacancy is in their shared service centre in Brno, Czech Republic.

The Technical Support Team provides B2B e-mail and phone support to European customers. You will have all the devices available for you to try so this will suit someone who is technical and loves to be in direct contact with the devices he/she will be supporting.

As a Technical Support Specialist you will
• Gain a high degree of technical competence and expertise on the scanning, wireless networking and mobile computing families of products (in the area of design, functionality, technical specifications)
• Escalate cases to Level 2 support representatives by fielding questions and providing technical information on support issues, product compatibility, and customer configurations.
• Provide technical training (Shadowing) for newcomers

Information about the selection process

The team works in 3 shifts Mon-Fri (8:00-16:30, 9:00-17:30, 10:30-19:00).

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

German - Advanced (C1) or Italian - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• At least upper-intermediate level of Italian or German and communicative English.
• Degree in Computer Science or experience with technical support.
• Interest in Technology and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Problem solving skills and effective communication with customers in troubleshooting technical issues over the phone.

A big advantage is
• Previous experience in Support Centre / Helpdesk environment.
• Networking and/or Wireless infrastructure skills.
• Knowledge of mobile computing technologies and operating systems
• Knowledge of remote tools.
