CEE IT Project Manager

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Due to the significant business & technology changes happening, PwC is searching for a skilled Project Manager, who can manage and coordinate projects in a way of ensuring the benefits of changes are fully realized. Travelling within CEE up to 0-25%.

Your main tasks on this position will be:

  • Manage business critical and complex projects on CEE and Global level
  • Serve as focal for PM queries and provide project management consultation and expertise
  • Follow frameworks for successful project deliveries, contribute to development of methodologies, standards and templates for other project managers
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Build relationships outside of CEE region, promote CEE PM brand and leverage local expertise for the benefit of the whole PwC network

Project Management (60% FTE)
  • Managing key IT projects in the CEE region (Hardware/Software implementations, OCR and Automations, Cloud migrations etc.)
  • Ownership and accountability of end to end project delivery and management

Project Management Office Governance (30% FTE)
  • Overall governance of CEE IT Projects portfolio, maintaining up-to-date information, dealing with escalations
  • Ensuring compliance with PMO standards on IT projects managed by IT Project Managers
  • Single point of contact for PM best practices consultations
  • Reporting to PMO Lead and Senior IT leadership team

Business engagement (10% FTE)
  • Overall administration of products and services sold to clients ensuring all information, documentation, invoices are up to date
  • Maintaining Products & Services Catalogue, identifying new potential revenue streams
  • Overseeing billing process and P/L analysis

Personality requirements and skills

PM Experience
  • At least 2 years in IT/Technology Project Management in leader role
  • Overview of entire project lifecycle
  • Preferred experience with software/hardware implementations, Cloud migrations, OCR & Automations
  • Project management certification desirable (PMI/Prince)

IT Skills
  • Passionate about technologies and able to quickly learn and get to speed desired
  • Will be exposed to standard office software (Microsoft / Google suite); RPA, OCR, Cloud etc.

Personal skills
  • Self-organized person with drive to get things done
  • Mature with low level of supervision needed
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Good communication & organizational skills, problem solving skills
  • Team player with a positive 'can do’ attitude;

Language
English – fluent both written and oral (required)
Russian – good communication level (not a must, but very welcome and highly appreciated)
