Experienced Personal Income Tax Consultant (PIT)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Tax Department who has been previously involved in provision of services in the area of Slovak and international Personal Income Tax issues and/or Global Mobility issues. As an Experienced Tax Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Providing Slovak and international personal income tax compliance and consulting services related to employee cross-border mobility
- Preparing/reviewing Slovak personal income tax returns for employees assigned to / from Slovakia
- Preparing/reviewing documents for social security / health insurance compliance in Slovakia
- Communicating with Slovak tax and other related authorities
- Monitoring Slovak and international tax and social security legislations
- Developing client and colleague relationships
- Participating in development of processes and tools used in our every-day work

Personality requirements and skills

- University education or secondary school education (ideally focused on finance/taxes)
- Ability to work and actively communicate in English (ability to work and actively communicate in German is an advantage);
- 1-3 years of experience with the taxation of individuals and other taxes (CIT, VAT etc.) - if you have more or less experience, we can discuss our possibilities, so do not hesitate to apply!
- Experience in communication with Slovak and foreign clients and Slovak institutions preferably in English
- Proven organizational skills, team work and proactive approach
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with numbers and use Excel
- Ability and interest in using technology aimed at helping clients and us to manage their assignees
