Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a member of our team within PwC Competency centre you will be working with audit teams across Slovakia. Whether you're ready for a career change or you are at the start of your working life PwC has a great opportunity within our new established Competency centre that will develop your skills and boost your employability no matter what your background is.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Application of PwC audit best practices and testing strategies.
  • Validating information such as invoices and bank statements against underlying client records.
  • Checking the accuracy of client data.
  • Processing data in internal PwC systems.
  • Speaking to client stakeholders and other PwC team members via phone, email and other Google enabled technologies.
  • Discussing any issues within the data provided with your team manager.
  • Working with the latest state of art technologies (automation of recurring processes, document reading bots, etc.)

Full training will be provided to you in basic auditing, bookkeeping, technology and other skills required.

Personality requirements and skills

We're looking for those who:
  • have completed min. secondary school education with a high school diploma (economics is an advantage)
  • know English language (level B2)
  • are eager to learn
  • are team players
  • have good communication skills
  • are reliable and detail-oriented
  • are able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • have experience in working with Excel and/or Google
  • experience in accounting is an advantage
