SSC Risk Management Supervisor

If your answer is ‘yes’ then we are probably looking for you - join our Shared Services Centre’s team operating in the area of Risk Management.
We offer a challenging opportunity for a talented, communicative, self-motivated and well-organised individual who has a sense for detail, is diligent in his work and is capable to lead a Team providing support to our tax & advisory staff in risk matters.
Your challenges will include:
• Assistance with research for client acceptance purposes (includes independence status of a potential client, background checks on new companies, obtaining information about clients and third parties from publicly available sources, etc.)
• Complete pre-engagement compliance tasks, including client and engagement acceptance, clearance of third parties, etc.
• Counseling advisory & tax staff on risk management policies, procedures for engagement set up and providing the appropriate level of support
• Close cooperation & consultation with local and regional Risk Management / Independence team / other parties involved
• Arrange a complete documentation including preparation of necessary system records and ensure that the appropriate correspondence is filed
• Coordinate Team’s activities and workload, ensure knowledge sharing and guarantee efficiency improvements and compliance across all processes and KPI
• Collaborate closely with all team members to manage their potential, expectations, motivation and development, provide timely feedbacks and promote a pro-active work environment

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti
• University masters degree (economic or legal studies are preferred fields but not required)
• Have a background of at least 2 years in risk area, compliance or customer due diligence field of work
• Have at least a 1 year experience with leading people, managing team’s operations and driving efficiency & process improvements
• Strong intellectual, organizational & technical skills with a desire to seek new learning opportunities
• Be collaborative and independent at the same time, to be capable of deciding what needs to be done and making informed judgements
• Good communication and presentation skills in English (oral and written), with the ability to draft and deliver clear messages to partners, senior staff and share information with other Team members
• Ability to think and plan ahead, be flexible and quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment to cope with tight deadlines
• Have a strong can-do approach
• Have a background of at least 2 years in risk area, compliance or customer due diligence field of work
