Job description, responsibilities and duties

PROFECT is a software engineering company specialized in solutions for customer information and client lifecycle management. Our clients are international companies in the areas of Automotive, Insurance and Banking. Together with database and application development, our core competencies are business intelligence and customer relationship management.

To expand activities and support our team in the software development center in Bratislava, we are looking for talented software engineers who join us on our journey.

Your Tasks
  • As backbone for our applications you support our projects with data engineering activities
  • Creation of data model concepts for relational databases and implementation with the use of our proprietary ETL software
  • Preparation and modelling of data for the integration in the analytical database integrated in our application
  • Monitoring of data streams and pipelines with the help of automated tests

Your Profile
  • You speak fluent English (B2) and you are a communicative person. German language skills are of advantage but not required.
  • You have a very structured and independent way of working and you have got strong analytical thinking skills
  • You have got knowledge in data types and databases, as well as common knowledge of data processing
  • You have got solid knowledge in SQL, and basic knowledge of Python and Apache Spark
