Job description, responsibilities and duties

At Paintline Maintenance Specialist PLC position your mission will be ensure that all painting means (paint line and auxiliaries) are kept in a functional and safe condition. Your main task will be:
• Put improvement in place for the preventive maintenance of machinery, systems and utility services
• Support the repair of paint line and auxiliaries equipment during major downtime
• Train paint maintenance technician on best practices or improved work instructions
• Define and put in place new work instructions, new method or improvement (OEE improvements)
• Manage external companies undertaking contract maintenance, repair or improvement project
• Troubleshoot potential PLC program issues
• Seek constant reduction of unscheduled machinery and equipment downtime
• Participate in continuous improvement processes and activities
• Manage improvements project from specification to final acceptance.
• Primary contact for all paint line complex technical issues
• Participate and lead root cause analysis to establish resolution action plan (8D, 5 why)
• Create and develop planned predictive, preventative and curative maintenance programmes, maintenance spares and workforce training programmes
• Support of creation a fully controlled maintenance stores system
• Manage maintenance sub-contractors activities (permits)
• Actively participate in all the training (in-house, provided by equipment supplier)
• Participate in fine tuning and final setting of the equipment
• Participate in maintenance area set up and follow up installation of small CAPEX related to this area
• Plan and support carry out preventive maintenance of machinery, systems and utility services
• Keep maintenance documentation available and updated
• Deploy and implement TPM for paint perimeter analyse down time reasons
