Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main mission of the MRO lead buyer is to manage local MRO team, identify the market opportunities (economical, technological and geographical) and manage his/her suppliers list & the cost reduction programs. His/her main tasks are to:
• Manage local team (targets, processes, motivation and evaluation)
• Lead internal working groups for technical savings identification or problem solving
• Play competition between suppliers and manages
• Commits & manages his portfolio in line with budget
• Lead sourcing process according to the plant needs in observation of the deontology rules and in the objectives set in terms of quality, cost and delivery
• Lead negotiation with the suppliers and internal customers
• Be in charge of contractualization with suppliers
• Lead “Order to pay” process
• Manages the suppliers relationships according to PO purchasing policy
• Manage if necessary any crisis with the suppliers
• Follow and report the suppliers performance

• Project and people management experience and skills, result orientation
• Multi task abilities & strong reactivity to plant events
• English fluent, Slovak/Czech fluent
