Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Ordering of all materials used on site against Customer forecasts
  • Oversee stock rotation
  • Daily inventory/stock check of all Paints & Solvents
  • Oversee ordering of all 2nd tier materials used on site against Customer forecasts
  • Ensure on time deliveries within established on site delivery slots
  • Ensure Customer is furnished with products in order to ensure zero line stops attributable to service supplier
  • Establish & coordinate emergency response plans in relation to any potential material supply shortfall
  • Prepare, analyse & present all Paint usage reports & graphs
  • Daily/weekly liason with Customer Paint Shop CME & Manufacturing representatives to monitor planning, production & delivery forecasts
  • Maintain all Paint material receiving records
  • Manage, support & control service supplier, JLR multi site inventory reduction/optimisation
  • Control shipping of all Paint & panel samples
  • Create weekly pipeline report

Our client is an outsourced service provider to paint sections within the automotive industry established in 1992 in UK. His experienced teams provide paint management, logistics and quality control services to the automotive manufacturers to assist them to produce a high quality, cost effective paint finish on their vehicles.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a logistics role
  • Educated to Advanced Level
  • Chemical and paint knowledge
  • Familiar with Automotive Industry
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Advanced IT skills with experience of MS Office
  • Ability to communicate in English
