Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- working closely with Country Managers, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting them to understand and implement policies and procedures
- liaising with a wide range of organisations involved in areas such as employment registration, race relations, disability, gender, age, religion, health and safety, Ministry of Labour (of different countries)
- recruiting staff: this includes developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, screening applications, short listing, interviewing, selecting candidates and appointing candidates
- implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures, absence management and employee welfare
- advising and checking pay and other remuneration issues, including bonuses and benefits
- undertaking regular salary reviews
- administering payroll and maintaining records relating to staff
- interpreting and advising on employment legislation
- listening to grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
- planning and delivering training, including inductions for new staff and liaising with training organisations
- analysing training needs in conjunction with Country Managers
- identifying methods to increase employee motivation and job satisfaction
- promoting internal communication
- find new ways to increase productivity
- analyse turnover
- preparing the annual HR budget for the offices that he/she is responsible
- regular monthly visits to our office in the Slovak Republic or where else will be necessary, implementing all of the above
- to familiarise himself with local labour legislation (Slovak and Czech) within the first year of employment
- to perform any other duties which will be assigned to him/her by the Company
