Job description, responsibilities and duties

Neways is an international innovator in electronics for smart mobility, connectivity and semicon solutions. With more than 50 years’ experience and strong engineering power, the company acts as technology innovation partner for the most demanding customers in the industry.
Neways develops and produces electronics that facilitate major trends around global ESG themes.
With a team of more than 2,500 specialists across the Netherlands, Germany, USA, China, Czech Republic and Slovakia they enable future solutions for EV charging, electric power trains, digitizing health solutions, sustainable agriculture, producing microchips and more. In 2021, Neways’ revenues amounted to € 470 million.

Currently Neways is realizing a brand new modern production facility in Nova Dubnica which will replace and merge the existing facilities in Nova Dubnica and give space to the projected growth of Neways. With 22.500 m2 floor capacity the site will more than double the existing plants.
A cleanroom of 2.250 m2 is foreseen to facilitate the manufacturing of (ultra)clean high-end products.

You will be located in one of Neways strategic important production site in Slovakia, Nova Dubnica, which is in its expansion plant, and moving to new modern production facility within two years.
You will manage a team of 6 employees in Slovakia, review all current processes and improve to prevalent standards were needed.

• You will be responsible for independent controlling of the production plant
• You will report to the plant manager and functionally to the Corporate group controller of Neways.
• You will be responsible for providing advice on business and finance strategy decisions.
• You performs in-depth business analyses, monthly performance analyses and reviews, and provides timely reporting with high quality and relevance for the business.
• You manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and be the relationship manager and business partner to the different functions in the business.
• You give substance to risk management, by setting up the right processes and asking the right questions.
• You creates financial reporting standards of the company to enable financial insight for business steering.
• You will represent the company as delegation of authority for tax and administrative organisations in the country concerned, banks and local insurance companies, local courts in the event of disputes/proceedings involving the company
• You will manage and develop the team, carry out the annual appraisal interviews, lay down the objectives of his/her team, by associating the functional ones, then ensure the deployment to the appropriate level.
