Senior IT Project Manager

Our partner is a world leader in digital security and the top provider of complex digital and smart card solutions for all major mobile operators, bank houses and public services. This position is within the Telco division in Prague (project managers, integrators, testers, developers) and provides hardware and software services to a large range of Telecom operators in EMEA region.


A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF AN IT PROJECT MANAGER:

• You will coordinate and manage project teams to delivers personalization & fulfilment solutions (card &/or servers) in compliant with customer requirements
• You will deliver solutions at committed time, with quality and cost control to ensure customer satisfaction
• You will maintain customer interests (contractual management, costs, amendments, risks, maintainability...)
• You will assess and analyze customer requirements in conjunction with internal solutions
• You will complete and validate the functional specifications with the customer
• You will define the project management plan and develop all project management related documents
• You will provide regular visibility, both internally and externally, on project progress, risks, contingency plan and issues with proper alerts and escalations
• You will manage both customer and internal change requests following customer change request management process
• You will Manage testing and relative activities for customer acceptance
• You will ensure handover to the customer support team after project launch
• You will manage daily operations required to support customer portfolios
• You will participate and lead in team trainings and in building capacities in team
• You will participate and assist Sales and Marketing in project priorities, quotation, schedules, feasibility study during pre- sales and project kick off phases


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• To succeed at this job, you must have University degree (Master), ideally in MIS/ Engineering/ Computer Science
• You need to be fluent English
• We would like someone to join our team who has experience with Project Management at least 5 years and with project in Telco area in software development or software consulting areas
• The advantage will be to have strong technical background, previous experience as a Developer/ Solution Integrator/Tester
• You must have experience in leading a team, strong leadership skills
