Job description, responsibilities and duties

The MEU Lease accounting analyst reports directly to the MEU Lease Accounting Regional Lead and the accountabilities of the role are:

  • Month end closing support for lease accounting, (accruals control, reporting and disclosure support)
  • Responsible for preparing SOX controls and audit compliance
  • Provide analyzes to facilitate the Account payable clearing approval process
  • Participate in monthly KPI governance and close calls
  • Support of the US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements in Lease accounting
  • Support of the regional lease related activities and projects

Experience & knowledge preferences:

  • Well organized with good analytical and reporting skills
  • Proven knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP/ statutory)
  • Solid understanding of SAP system and working with integrated systems
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Team player
  • Proven track record of self-management and time management. Proven drive for results

Additional Information:

Fixed term contract for one year with possibility to be reassigned to a position with permanent contract.
