You will act as a business partner in the CS&L team providing financial expertise, guidance and will own the financials at the base of the business cases evaluation for the AR approval process (Cash flow, P&L statement cost & benefits analysis, IRR, pay-back time). You will be responsible to track the projects performance (costs and benefits) and will advise the CS&L leadership team on the course of actions to achieve the business and financial targets defined with the AR approval (Net Productivity, performance KPIs, Capex/Opex spend, Organization restructuring).

The role ensures adherence to all applicable policies, procedures and standards, own and manage project approval RACI matrix in CS&L and provides training on the capital investment process.

Finally, you will be a finance expert in external Grant program leading audit activities and external regular reporting in cooperation with other program participants, coordinators, and consultants.

You will have 1/2 direct reports depending on the number of active projects.

How you will contribute

In this role you will:
  • lead and support the cross-functional dialog during business case preparation, including alignment with CS&L tower leads, Areas/Countries, MSC/ISC finance, HR teams, Procurement, IBS and other functions to build the most accurate Finance model, which will capture impact to all functions during/after each project implementation;
  • support on the Appropriation Request (AR) preparation, manage the approval process of investment proposals
  • challenge the project leads on project performance to maximize the company benefits ensuring transparency and complete understanding of the financial performance, identifying risks and mitigation plans/
  • manage the BAU and SCR projects forecast and actuals results tracking, provide best in class performance reporting to all stakeholders, ensure communication and alignment across the involved functions and teams, advise on mitigation plan in case of derailers
  • support the tracking of project resources in alignment with Areas/Countries, Transformation and Overhead teams
  • act as a SME for CDB (CAPEX data base) in the CS&L team, coordinate all CAPEX planning and AR approval, ensure internal controls, SOX compliance in place.

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection and structuring, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics. Relevant experience in a regional/local business
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experience with business partnering and communication skills across a large regional or local public company
GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify/execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations
  • 5-7 years experience in Finance roles
