Provides a key service to the product cost controller and team on regional COGS analysis to ensure that they are aware of the changes in costs to take the relevant business decisions, including:
1. Defines and Issues Planning Timetable and Instructions to ISC teams and supports the ISC FP&A Manager on co-ordination across ISC teams and ISC Finance teams for the Region;
2. Consolidates product cost analysis for Annual Plan and budget updates for Latin America region;
3. Consolidates analysis and commentary of monthly actual results and variances to plan for Latin America region;
4. Provides other analysis / reports on product cost controlling to ISC Finance as required and supports the ISC FP&A Manager on projects for gross to net productivity delivery enhancement as needed;
5. Leads projects for simplification and harmonization of FP&A processes within the ISC Finance teams;
6. Supports the ISC FP&A Manager in managing communication with the Region Central FP&A team and Region ISC Finance Director as well as Global ISC Finance.

Major Activities:

  • Budgeting & Actual Reporting Processes
Sets planning calendar, deadlines and reporting requirements to costing teams
Updates and provides harmonized templates and issues definitions and instructions
The ISC FP&A team is the primary point of contact for FiT system COGS consolidation

  • Planning and budget updates
Co-ordinates deck preparations and issues presentation templates and provides ISC FP&A manager and Product Cost Controller with insightful analysis on changes included in the budget updates, including ZBB support for FME/ISC Overheads

  • Analysis and Review
Co-ordinates month-end actual process and is responsible for month-end closing deck preparation including insightful analysis on cost of goods sold variances at total COGS level and including ZBB support
Consolidates and co-ordinates collection processes for all KPI reporting

  • Ad-hoc analyses/projects
Supports the ISC FP&A Manager on other analyses, presentation material and reports as required and supports and/or leads on ISC Finance related projects, including simplification and harmonization

Personality requirements and skills

Qualification/skills:

Required:
  • Must have University degree or equivalent, preferable in Finance.
  • 4+ years of functional experience in costing, accounting or financial controlling, FP&A, Category Controlling, ideally in an international environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product cost in a manufacturing environment.
  • Well organised with good analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with different systems (SAP, BI, FiT, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Team player..
  • Proven track record of self-management and time management. Proven drive for results.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle fast paced changing environment.
  • Must be fluent in English - both written and spoken.

Preferred:
  • Good knowledge of product costing methodology in SAP and general knowledge about ISC Finance processes.
  • Part / Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA.
  • Other languages (Spanish, Portuguese preferable) is preferred.
