Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Produce detailed drawings using GD & T where required.
* Create finished CAD models using concepts provided by customer.
* Manage incoming CAD data from customers.
* Complete component tolerance stack ups.
* Produce presentations for customer review.
* Co-ordinate internal drawing releases.
* Make design changes to existing products.
* Support New Project introduction teams.
* Support and Lead A3 Process Improvement activities.
* Concept development of new projects utilising Catia V5 and Ideas V9
* Updates of current production projects
* Construction of Detail and Assembly drawings
* Generation and maintenance of indented B.O.M
* Construction of DFMEA
* Generation of development / production verification plan
* Inter departmental liaison with project engineering, quality, purchase, manufacturing, test, ensuring all departmental procedures are adhered to
* Customer liaison
* To work with the Company’s Quality and Engineering procedures, to institutionalise the company 5s working philosophy
* To be prepared to undertake reasonable foreign travel as required
* Consistently identify opportunities for improvement within the department and record all improvements.

* Driving licence B
