Business Reporting Developer

Technical skills required:
• Microsoft Excel (including macros and VBA) – expert level
• MS Access, MS SQL (stored procedures, ETL packages) – advanced level
• Business Objects Universe and Report Development – advanced level

Technical skills nice to have:
• SQL server admin
• Experience in developing reports in Qlikview or Tableau
• Knowledge of Web design – Java (PHP, ASP / ASP.NET, HTML)

Other Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in developing analytical models, preferably in the IT industry
• Excellent data analysis, problem solving and data interpretation skills
• Successful track record in working remotely; ability to work proactively & autonomously
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Very good organizational skills, including time management

In this position, you will be responsible for building & improving insightful / interactive tools and reports. You will transform business requirements into new solutions, supporting Incentives & Commissions and EMEA sales teams.

Main responsibilities:
• Creates, maintains & improves internal databases
• Works with Business Analytics & Regions to identify specific areas for analysis
• Demonstrates consultative skills in the delivery of recommendations, articulation of risks, and provisions for risk mitigation. Makes these recommendations based on data-driven analysis to optimize the success of Lenovo’s business
• Provides analysis in a timely & highly accurate fashion, works under tight deadlines
