Group consolidation accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Monthly preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS
* Supervision of international subsidiaries in accounting and reporting issues
* Independent preparation of parts of external financial reporting (including preparation of Notes)
* Collaboration with other Finance teams to assist with analysis and to ensure accurate presentation of financial results.
* Central contact person for consolidation topics, global support to finance accounting staff
* Supervision of specific accounting issues and their coordination with internal and external contact persons (mainly auditors)
* Preparation of ad hoc analyses/reports, assists with special projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in financial reporting

University education (Master's degree)

English - Advanced (C1)

Education and Experience:
* Degree in finance field – preferably with a focus on accounting and auditing
* 1-3 years of professional experience in accounting and consolidation of an international company
* Experience in consolidation system (preferable SAP, Tagetik), as well as SAP R3 (FI module)

Skills and abilities:
* Very good command of English (verbal and written)
* Knowledge of IFRS accounting and consolidation
* Understanding of the relationship among income statement, Balance sheet, cash flow statement
* Analytical thinking, high level of accuracy, ability to collaborate across areas
* Ability to work independently, as well as a team player, under tight deadlines
* Proficient experience with MS Office
