The key responsibilities of the Service Center Manager will include (but may not be limited to)
• Supervising all aspects of activity relating to current and new programs
• Interfacing with Central Warehouse Management and Sales teams to support commercial negotiation with the customer
• Supervising logistics provider’s activities, ensures adherence to the contract stipulations
• Selecting, hiring and training Logistics Analyst Coordinators to also be based on site
• Controlling stock levels and daily inventory reports

A new and exciting position has been approved for a Service Center Manager with the responsibility of overseeing all Logistic Service Centre activities delivering wiring content to a premium European OEM customer. Lear Corporation will supply 100% of Wiring Content to the OEM customer for 2 major product launches in 2018 and 2019 and requires an onsite presence to coordinate activities between internal manufacturing facilities and the OEM customer.
Reporting directly to the Head of Material, Planning & Logistics for the Wiring Commodity in Europe and Africa, the Service Center Manager will be targeted with maintaining customer satisfaction and optimizing productivity whilst also managing customer negotiations related to the daily Service Center Operations.

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

To be success in this role we are looking for the following experience
• 5 years’ experience working in a Senior position within Logistics or Supply Chain
• Strong experience working in daily contact with Production Units (preferably JIT / JIS)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English language is mandatory – Slovak would be advantageous
