LANXESS CEE is currently seeking a strong, motivated and talented individuals with the appropriate experience for the position of Chief Accountant.

Location: CEE, Slovakia, Bratislava

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for the accounting department of the company
• Professional and technical management of Slovak accounting and data consolidation for the subsidiaries in Austria, Czech republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Croatia on a monthly basic
• Accounting assets, provisions and internal documents
• Accounting of payroll and preparation of documents for personal taxation
• Communication with tax authorities and preparation of VAT statement as well as check VAT report on the monthly basic
• Execute closing activities – monthly, quarterly and year-end closings for entire LXS CEE (SK, CZ, AT, HU, PL, RO, RS, HR)
• Communication and cooperation with the banks, auditors, tax advisors and external accounting companies related to entire LXS CEE (SK, CZ, AT, HU, PL, RO, RS, HR)
• Checking of incoming invoices for all LXS CEE (SK, CZ, AT, HU, PL, RO, RS, HR)
• Processing of bank payments (invoices, payrolls and money transfers) for all LXS CEE (SK, CZ, AT, HU, PL, RO, RS, HR)
• Evidence and accounting of manually issued outgoing invoices for all LXS CEE
• Creating of accounting methods and internal regulations
• Management of accounting chart
• Management of accounting system SAP for the needs of LXS CEE
• Preparation of statistics report (National bank of Slovakia)
• Supporting controlling department

• University Degree preferably in the area of finance, accounting, economics
• Working experience in the area of finance, accounting leading a small team
• English proficient written and spoken,
• Good comprehension of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point), SAP
• Good verbal and written business communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Excellent teammate and willingness to share and support
• Diligent and accurate working style
• Solves business problems using own initiative and common sense
