Junior Developer - student

Are you curious to design and develop highly customized QlikView/ QlikSense applications for Holcim internal clients?

As a Junior QlikView Development Specialist we are offering you an opportunity to:
- Learn from senior developers in a small team
- Experience international environment
- Practice and improve English
- Participate in business requirement meetings to understand functional requirements
- Enable documentation of business and functional requirements and ensure complete understanding of the application design
- Understand data requirements and check for data availability. Highlight the gaps
- Interact with Business Analyst or business stakeholders (if required) for any clarification required during the development stage
- Configure user authentification and role based access to dashboards
- Design intuitive and creative visualization (dashboards/reports) in QlikView and/or in QlikSense that reflects key business metrics
- Respond to business requests and inquiries, as appropriate
- Ensure system meets functional and technical standards
- Provide support to business analyst and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

This position is also suitable for part-timers who are eager to learn programing in Qlikview and/or QlikSense, work in international company and get prepared for the start of the career.

Qualification and skills:
- Knowledge about relational databases like MS SQL server
- Experience with programming in VBA

An advantage:
- Experience with Business Intelligence analysis and BI tools, data reporting and visualization
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Programing skills and experience in QlikView or QlikSense
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- General overview of enterprise business processes in Finance and Reporting, Procurement, Inventory management, Audit and Treasury is an advantage
