Senior SW Engineer in Test

We are looking for a contractor (with trade licence/Ltd.) for 6 months. The contract can be prolonged upon mutual agreement.


We are looking for a Senior SW Engineer in Test who will drive the testing activities within SW development team dedicated for innovative platform used for distributed measurements deployed in cloud (having microservice architecture).

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure the effective implementation of tests and testing strategies in collaboration with Product Owner and other technical roles (e.g. test developers, software developers, product managers etc.)
• Design test cases based on requirements (features, user stories, NFR-s)
• Create and perform automated and manual tests
• Establish and maintain the test environment
• Act as a Coach and Mentor to others
• Maintain traceability of tests to requirements
• Report defects and retest the bug fixes
• Helps to ensure that developed project adheres to non-functional requirements by executing tests targeted to these business values (stability, performance, error handling, etc.)
• Create documentation required by Corporate Guidelines for testing (test plan, test report, etc.)
• Provide feedback on quality and consistency of requirements and specifications (testability of requirements, usability of user interface, more accurate effort estimations, etc.)
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis and ensure that post-mortems are systematically documented and acted upon
• Maintain Continuous integration pipelines to ensure that deployments meet non-functional requirements (e.g. stability, performance, error handling, ..)
• Report test results to the Product Owner regarding depth and overall coverage of testing
• Create and maintain libraries for test automation
• Assists Product Owner to solve business issues related to testing
• Evaluation and setup of Configuration management
