Job description, responsibilities and duties
Product Assistant Manager is responsible for KIA product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure that the KMSS targeted revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Assistant Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and to define and to offer the most attractive product on the market in cooperation with KMSS management and KME in order to achieve turnover, sales quantities and market share objectives.
Your main agenda within our product management team will include:
Steer product-related market research activities to prepare strategic and operational
product marketing statistic reports to benchmark KMSS performance with competitors.
Ensure the provision of relevant market research information to Sales, KMSS top
management and KME respective departments.
Closely monitor the market and the competitors to identify the market opportunities and
eliminate market treats for the dedicated product portfolio.
Prepare the trim line strategy for the dedicated product portfolio to reflect the best the
market needs.
In close cooperation with the direct superior, sales dpt. and KME HQ set up the
competitive pricing to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Life cycle management of the dedicated product portfolio.
Steer the development of operational product plans (including special editions, pricing
and conditions) to be agreed by the CFO and KMSS Managing Directors in order to
package KIA offers in line with market needs and to achieve turnover, sales quantities
and market share objectives.
Participate and closely cooperate with sales dpt. in setting up the competitive incentive
strategy.
Participate in the market-oriented strategic product planning for the development of
prospective KIA cars together with KMSS management and KME HQ and in accordance
with the direct superior.
Contribute to the KMSS budget and business planning process, in particular providing
high quality data on market potentials for KIA products.
Supervise the accessories development in cooperation with corporate and external
accessories suppliers to complete KIA’s market offerings and generate additional
revenues and profits.
Steer the organization and realization of dealer trainings prior to product launches to
enable them to optimally sell the KIA products and accessories in order to achieve
turnover, sales quantities and market share objectives.
Support the dealer’s network in all product related questions.
Complete administration of the model offer in the MySales dealer system

Experience with similar product – oriented job within Sales and Marketing in an automotive
company
Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, negotiation and persuasion
Customer focused personality
Strong verbal and written communication skills – both, in Slovak and English is a must
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word and PowerPoint), advanced knowledge of Excel
Self-starter, proactive with a “can do” attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency and very strong attention to detail
Able to take ownership of tasks and work on own initiative
Analytical reporting - ability to lead detailed product analysis from very beginning until product price launching
Excellent knowledge of local automotive market and product trends within this area
