Janssen, part of Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is now looking for an experienced Medical Science Liaison:

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS & PATIENT ENGAGEMENT AND ADVOCACY SPECIALIST
Located in Bratislava
Full-time temporary contract

Specialist executes local government affairs strategy and action plans and in collaboration with other departments to ensure improved access to Janssen innovative portfolio and business objectives. Executes all patient centric initiatives and effectively maintains established relationships with the key strategic patient advocacy stakeholders.
You will have the following areas of responsibility:
 Maintain and assist in development of effective relationships and dialogue with relevant Health Authorities and other important stakeholders, KOLs and other health care decision makers.
 Execute activities in support of therapeutic areas through projects developed in conjunction with other functions of the company (market access, medical and commercial departments)
 Involve and contribute to Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry and Amcham
 Execute patient advocacy strategy and ensures alignment across a matrix environment
 Maintain interactions with Patients Associations for different projects that can contribute to better health outcomes including patient’s access to the innovative medicines thus improving the Company’s image in local community
 Execute engagement plans for local patient advocacy groups/ associations
 Participate in Functional CEE and EMEA Patient advocacy networks and projects
 Keep records for all sponsorships to Patients Associations and ongoing projects
 Follow the company procedures and report any adverse event/PQC they become aware about in 24 hours from the receipt

We offer attractive conditions of employment and possibilities for further career growth within our company. For this position we are offering an annual gross salary starting at 21.600 EUR (excl. variable component). Depending on your skills, qualifications and experience this can be negotiated.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications and experience of the successful candidate:
 A university degree in a related field, such as political science, public policy or health care
 Experience in public policy area (governmental institutions, trade association advocacy; government/public affairs consulting or NGOs)
 Basic knowledge about Slovak Health Care system and legislation
 Knowledge of GA and public affairs area
 Good verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening and the ability to speak and write persuasively
 Experience with project management
 Fluency in English
