Our Record to Report Team is responsible for completing general accounting transactions whilst at the same time, ensure that we meet internal and external reporting and control requirements. This role provides excellent opportunities to apply existing skills in a complex and interesting environment.
 
In your role as Transition Manager, you will support on the transition of financial activities linked to the ongoing global finance transformation in Johnson Controls. You will be responsible for timely and accurate programming and reporting to achieve the target financial results, being fully compliant with local and US GAAP accounting rules. As part of your role, you will be expected to manage transition activities and clearly define project objectives and formulate plans with timelines and desirable checkpoints; driving benchmark studies with competitors and other JCI organizations to improve efficiencies and/or controls environment.
 
How will you do it:
  •  Full SOX compliance
  • Guaranteeing compliance with JCI procedures for all Team / Group Members
  • Ensuring the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) 
  • Ensuring that external partners (e.g. PWC) and regional partners receive accurate and on-time information
  • Ensuring complete, accurate and timely processing of daily transactional volume
  • Formulating and administering approved accounting
  • Delivering department's continuous improvement savings
  • Establishing clear objectives for performance and quality across all Corporate / BU Finance departments

What we look for

  • Minimum 3 years as Finance Manager operational and strategic involvement
  • BA/ MBA degree in economics graduated in business administration/ management especially accounting, finance, controlling
  • Proven experience in transition/transformation projects
  • Professional accountancy Qualification such as, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA FIA is required (or in process of obtaining the certification).
  • US-GAAP-Experience, Finance Analysis, (MS-Office,  SAP, Oarcle, iScala & HFM experience)
  • Fluent in English
  • Min 4 years in the Accounting department of an industrial company or in an accounting firm, preferable audit background
  • Shared service center experience

Starting from 2200 EUR/month gross (plus a 13th month salary) based on relevant experience
