Senior Regional Fleet Specialist

What you will do

We are hiring a Regional Fleet Specialist in our business center, based in Bratislava. This individual will Support the EMEA Fleet Manager in leading the development, alignment and implementation of standards, targets, documented process, procedures and policies to insure continuing operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and safety for the fleet of the respective region

 

How you will do it

As a Fleet Specialist you will be responsible for managing the tactical elements of fleet within EMEA Region I, II & III, Manages the relationships with fleet leasing company, vehicle manufacturers at local level, and any other third party suppliers to ensure highest level of service, Negotiates with the manufacturers to assure the most cost competitive vehicle pricing for the region, Develop monthly measurable metrics on fleet performance, Manage vehicle specification, selection and procurement of fleet vehicles, Ensures fleet policy compliance and is the primary contact in fleet matters, Serve as the liaison between fleet services providers, local fleet teams and internal business partner, Oversee vehicle replacement process/ordering cycles, ensuring that vehicle choices are consistent across all business units and within policy restrictions, Perform periodic audits of fleet invoices to ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures, policies and payment terms, Prepare cost analysis on an as-needed basis, Develop monthly consolidated fleet cost reporting from multiple suppliers to effectively communicate, analyze and make recommendations in key area of responsibility, etc.
What we look for

Required
* Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in fleet management, finance and/or purchasing          
* Ability to perform in a diverse and matrix organization.
* Ability to work with all levels of management.
* Must be self-motivated, reliable and eager to contribute.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local language and English
* Must be able to travel on a periodic and as-needed basis.

Preferred
* A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or finance.
* Good presentation skills.
* Effective team building and collaboration skills and a positive attitude.
* Demonstrated experience in Word, Excel, Power Point, Oracle, SAP and web based applications.
