This role is to support the development and deployment of the Material Flow strategy for the Logistics operation at the Automotive Plant in Nitra. This includes the planning of the physical flow of material through the plant, the development and deployment of technology to support the storage and movement of parts, and could include the development of packaging, processes and SAP.
To be successful in the role, it will be necessary to collaborate with other teams within JLR to understand the current systems and processes, perform analysis to identify the best use of JLR resources, develop business cases to justify investment, write strategic packs to communicate and align central strategy, and then to prepare and oversee Project Plans to deliver and report out on new implementations.
It is an exciting role, as you will be at the forefront of new logistics technologies, developing new solutions and working with suppliers to identify new opportunities. You will need the confidence to go and engage new teams, to communicate new ideas and encourage others to move away from some of their traditional methods. You will need the experience of working in Production/Logistics to understand how processes work, and implement the best material flow solution for each area you are responsible for.
You will also need a fascination with new innovations, a hunger to go out and find the latest solutions, a willingness to build relationships with other organisations, and organised behaviours to ensure successful implementations and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop material flow solutions for all parts and areas you are responsible for (including the maintenance of SAP master data)
Prepare studies, and present analysis to optimise investment into technology & equipment
Co-ordination of installation/deployment of technology into the Logistics Operations in Nitra
Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure the material flow solution supports them to deliver production cost effectively and to a high quality
Track project status, report current status, and prepare submissions for key business gateways

- Significant experience and knowledge of Logistics Planning, Operations and Processes
- Experience of Material Flow Planning
- Some experience of Project Management, and Reporting
- Candidates must demonstrate drive, initiative and strong analytical skills
- Can form strong working relationships
- Can manage and resolve a wide range of complex problems using problem solving tools
- Applicants must be computer literate and have knowledge of relevant business systems (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc)
- Ability to plan and prioritise varying workload and demands
- Applicants must be flexible to support manufacturing build plans
- Experience of Automotive or Manufacturing Logistics
- Experience of logistics technology

Benefity
Salary 1434 Euro per month depends on candidate skills and experiences, 0-15% of gross base salary- paid annually, 13th salary, other benefits according JLR rules.
