Main responsibilities:
* Role model a ‘Safety and Customer 1st’ mindset within the team
* Support World Class operator training & build activities in the UK and Slovakia
* Lead, develop capability of and deploy the Darwin Pre-series build support team (Product Coaches)
* Define, coordinate & deliver robust training plans to production associates on Trim & Final assembly build processes
* Co-ordinate Pre-Production build and launch budget plans for the product coach team to ensure all activities are funded and supported, both in the UK and Slovakia
* Support Virtual Series builds to ensure parts / processes are designed for assembly, identify potential improvements and concerns to safety & Quality
* Lead planning and delivery of pre-volume vehicle build events
* Support and implement JLR’s Integrate Production System standard procedures to ensure lean systems are integrated within the Manufacturing Operating System
* Drive use of AIMS (Automated Issue Management System), CCAR, 5F and other practical problem solving tools to track and solve build issues
* Track Quality performance via departmental scorecard / sufficiency plans and actively drive the teams to achieve individual & group Quality targets
* Preparation of accurate and objective program status reports in support of Launch Managers requirements
* Utilise Risk Assessment to Identify ergonomic or & Health & Safety. Drive the problem solving to achieve a viable solution for the operations team

* Good level of English
* Proven ability to influence and/or manage people. Candidate must have a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines
* The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision to deliver key objectives
* Detailed working knowledge of Trim & Final areas or vehicle manufacturing operations
*Good experience of working with computers and IT, especially Microsoft Excel, Power point & Word
* Good understanding of safety and ergonomic risk assessment procedures
* Awareness of vehicle quality and its impact to customers and business
* Ability to work off site at alternative locations, including overseas
* Ability to make short presentations to work groups and management
* Ability to be flexible with working hours/ shift at short notice
* Ability to manage and coach teams of production associates

* Permanent working contract, working directly for JLR.
* Meals for only 1€.
* Company bus transportation. In case of traveling by own car Transport Allowance 20 Euro per month.
